SION is a fellowship of believers in Christ. We value every member's worth; sharing love, understanding, and acceptance; and encouraging each other to be not only believers but doers of His word. We believe in reaching out to the poor and destitute, to the orphans, and to those in dire need, no matter where. We know that it is only through Christ that we are able to bring change and transformation in a person's life.

SION's core belief is that PRAYER is conversation through a personal relationship with our Father God. Prayer is the one important thing we need to set us on our way every day; and so we begin each day in conversation with God-PRAYERS.

SION'S purpose is connecting people with God and equipping God's people for works of service, so that the body of Christ may be built up. - Ephesians 4:12. SION also promotes the biblical growth and development of its members. We believe that each person has a spiritual gift to win souls to Christ. Thus, SION encourages each member to minister and lead prayer on the prayer line; applying their spiritual blessing.

SION reflects the non-denominational and ethnic diversity that is the Kingdom of God. Scripture says that Heaven will be made up of every tribe and tongue. SION is prayer and people-centered and not program-centered. SION is a family of believers who all have a passion for reaching out to foster a spirit of spirit-led praise and worship.

God's Vision for this Ministry

We are to go throughout the world in the name of Jesus Christ, to reach out to the lost, the destitute, the young and the old. We are commissioned to win souls for Christ, first and foremost. We are to proclaim the good news of Christ with boldness and every conviction, not compromising but moving forward with God's command.

We are not just call to a specific group of people; we are called without discrimination to express and share the love of Jesus Christ with all men through all nations. We are to reach out and bring in the fold to the chief shepherd. They are His people not ours. It is mandatory that we give them the truth and nothing but the truth according to our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

We are to empower His people to pray and to stand on their own, in their belief of Christ Jesus. We are to build up their faith through the power of the Holy Spirit to tell others about His love and goodness. Our mandate comes from Isaiah 61:1-3; which tells us that the Spirit of the Lord is upon us because the Lord has anointed us to preach the good tidings to the poor. He has sent us to heal the broken hearted to proclaim liberty to the captives, the opening of the prison doors to those who are bound.

We are anointed by the Holy Spirit to go out into the world to be God's hands, feet, mouth, ears and eyes. Through the demonstration of His love, power and Spirit in the preaching of the word of truth, through miracles, signs and wonders, deliverance, the prophetic and winning of souls for His glory and His name
